Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Join NextGen 13.0 artists in a casual, intimate gathering to share experiences and processes revolving around contemporary artist practices. No artistic background required, this event is a casual event to ask questions, learn new things, and ultimately create new community. Conversation prompts, snacks, and beverages (wine and non alcoholic seltzers) will be provided. This event will occur after the last day of Rockville Arts Festival. Come for the festival, stay for the conversation! All ages welcome.
About NextGen: NextGen 13.0 is a unique opportunity for aspiring artists who have little or no exhibition experience to show their work in a professional gallery and participate in related programming, including an opening reception and artist talks, conversations with other emerging artists, critiques with local curators and arts administrators who work with young artists, and additional professional development opportunities.
