Sip wine as you learn the basics of basket weaving by making two baskets using different types of reeds and methods of construction. The first basket is a cylinder that can be embellished by beads or flat reeds and the basket can be used to hold pencils or other utensils. The second basket is known as an Ear of Corn basket, which is named for its shape and is a perfect holder for love notes or dried flowers. This class is the perfect introduction for someone who wanted to try basket weaving, but never had a chance to learn. Your ticket price includes one free glass of wine; additional wine or beer may be purchased. This is a great class for a fun and low-pressure outing. Please bring ID if you want to consume alcohol.
Students may choose to use holiday colors for their basket.
