Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Step into the world of Pokémon through this dynamic partnership between VisArts and Snapology, where STEM exploration meets creative art-making. In Pokemania, students will build and imagine their own Pokémon universe using LEGO® bricks—designing gyms, staging battles, and even inventing a brand-new generation of Pokémon. Along the way, they’ll learn real-world science by exploring habitats and understanding how different environments shape their creatures.
After the building portion, students will move into the art studio for a focused lesson in character design. They’ll illustrate their custom gym leader, design a full Pokémon team, and create a personalized gym badge. To connect with the science concepts, students will also draw their original Pokémon living in its natural habitat—forest, volcano, ocean, or beyond.
This STEAM-powered program encourages problem-solving, world-building, scientific thinking, and creative expression—all while students train to become the ultimate Pokémon masters.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed three days prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
