Two-Week Mug Intensive Boot Camp – Gary Chung

If you’re a beginner potter still figuring things out, or a more advanced one trying to find your signature style, we will cover topics on both technique and design that will help a wide range of skill levels. Learn how to plan, design, and implement your custom idea for a mug. Topics covered will include how to throw mugs more consistently, trimming to get more specific feet, and ways to make and attach handles to compliment your design. There will also be time to critique each other’s work with the goal of forwarding our designs to greater heights.

Prerequisite

• This class is for advanced beginners and intermediate students.

Materials 

• Purchase clay in advance. 
• Students will be assigned a shelf for the duration of the class. 

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
