Students in this course will learn how to use LED lights to make an illuminated photographic locket. In the first session (3/24)  students will learn how to solder electrical wires to LED lights to illuminate their locket. In the second session (3/31) students will visit museums and galleries in Washington D.C. that are exhibiting light and electrical art installations. In the third class (4/14) students learn how to print their selected image onto transparent paper, cut it into a oval and mount it onto plexiglass. Students will then wire their lockets and attach the mounted image to the locket. In the fourth class, (4/28) students will leave class with an illuminated locket either battery powered or wall mounted.
