Within the span of four classes, students will create three 11″ x 14″ paintings in Klee’s unique style. Klee, a Swiss painter, was a prolific creator who became well-known and successful in simplifying scenes (such as the city view in the work shown, “Moonshine”) into their basic shapes, painting bright colors and using lines in an innovative, often childlike style. His color schemes and geometries were well thought-out, however.
This class is for ages 14 and up.
