Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
There’s something about Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite that captures the magic and excitement of Christmas—and this festive class brings that spirit to life through art! Students will design and paint their own wooden nutcrackers, drawing inspiration from traditional hand-painted nutcrackers, ballet posters, and holiday ornaments. With step-by-step guidance from the instructor, students will sketch their designs in pencil, add bold black outlines if desired, and bring their creations to life with vibrant acrylic paints.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
