Discover the expressive potential of fabric, thread, and found materials in this hands-on textile collage class. Designed for adults of all skill levels, this course invites you to explore the intersection of fiber art and mixed media through layering, composition, and stitching.
You’ll learn techniques including fabric selection, image transfer, hand and machine stitching, surface embellishment, and intuitive design. Guided by your instructor, you’ll experiment with texture, color, and pattern to create richly layered artworks that reflect your personal style.
Whether you’re drawn to storytelling, abstraction, or purely visual exploration, this class offers a relaxed, creative space to develop your ideas and bring them to life in cloth and thread. No prior textile experience is necessary—just a willingness to explore.
This class is for ages 14 and up.
