This is a 7-day consecutive workshop (excluding weekends) starting July 5 to July 14 (excluding the 8).

Students will learn how to wheel throw off the hump functional teapot parts, including body, lid, spout, and handle. Students will learn how to create lids and handles for different shapes of teapots. In addition, students will learn how to hand cut, trim, and create a sculpture knob to match the size and shape of each teapot. Students will also learn the balance between the functional and aesthetic aspects of ceramic work. This class is for students who have experience with clay. During the class, you may enjoy jasmine, black, white, and green tea with your tea sets.
