Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
In this two-week workshop taught by renowned artist Xiaosheng Bi, students will create their own traditional tea ceremony bowls.
Students will learn handbuilding techniques, including how to add surface textures to their tea bowl design and incorporate natural elements into a display stand for their finished sculpture.
This class is for students who are advanced beginners and beyond. Suggested clays are Frost or Standard 365 English Porcelain.
This class is for ages 14+.
Registration will close two weeks prior to the start date.
Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
