Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Tapestry Tales is a mixed-media textile class focused on storytelling through fabric, texture, and found objects. Students will learn a variety of textile and mixed-media techniques, including stitching, layering, collage, and fabric manipulation, while incorporating meaningful objects from home to explore personal narratives, memories, or life processes. Emphasizing experimentation and reflection, the class encourages students to transform everyday materials into layered, tactile works that tell a story and express individual experience.
This class is for ages 14 and up.Â
