This class introduces the basics of watercolor painting with a step-by-step approach. Students learn classic watercolor techniques as they paint from still-life and photographs. Brush work, color mixing, modeling form, application of paint in various styles and basic design ideas are explored. Each week includes a complete painting demonstration with a thorough explanation of the techniques used. If desired, lockers are available to store supplies between classes; bring a lock.
Materials may be purchased at any good art supply store.
