Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Learn about the different groups of dinosaurs including what they might have looked like, fun facts, and real science terms. Students will practice sketching different dinosaurs, improving their observational skills, anatomy knowledge, and confidence with drawing materials including graphite, colored pencils, and ink pens. Students will learn how to use lines and shading to show shape and form, texture, and lighting.
Class 1: Armored dinosaurs (Thyreophora) Class 2: Duck-billed dinosaurs and relatives (Ornithopoda) Class 3: Horned dinosaurs and relatives (Marginocephalia) Class 4: Long-neck dinosaurs (Sauropods) Class 5: Big meat-eaters and relatives, and birds (Theropods) Class 6: Final project/studio time
Children under 13 must be dropped off and picked up at their classroom by a parent or caregiver.Â

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.Â
