Join us on Saturday, January 7 from 1-2 PM in our Concourse Gallery to view a performance art piece by Rex Delafkaran.
Delafkaran is an artist and dancer based in Washington, DC. She uses movement to explore and translate ideas of failure, hybrid forms and functions, and abstract languages. She also explores real and invented narratives of Iranian, American, and queer identities. She translates these ideas through live performances, media documentation, ceramics, sculpture, and dance while reconsidering objects and bodies’ literal and cultural functions.
We’re thrilled to have this opportunity to have Rex Delafkaran perform in our gallery. We’d love to see you there!
This event is free, but to reserve your space, please add a ticket and check out.
