New to portrait drawing? This introductory course is the perfect place to start!
We’ll begin with the fundamentals—exploring drawing materials and essential art concepts like color, line, shape, and form.
As you gain confidence, you’ll move on to portrait-drawing techniques, including grid drawing, shading, and different ways to capture facial features.
The goal isn’t perfection, but helping you build your portrait-drawing skills through practice.
By the end of the course, you’ll apply everything you’ve learned to create your own self-portrait.
This class is for ages 14 and up.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
