Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
In this online class, students will learn the basics of portrait art.
We will cover basic facial anatomy, drawing faces at different angles, rendering hair and individual facial features, and the anatomy of facial expressions. We will also observe techniques of professional portrait artists and use master studies to boost our understanding of the genre.
Materials List
This class is for ages 14 and up.
Instruction will be provided on Zoom. Students will need to have a webcam and the ability to download Zoom on their computer, phone, or tablet. We will email the Zoom login link after you register.
