As we gather for this Zoom class we will first talk about the animal, view some photos, and some of its qualities: How large is it? Where does it live? (forest water, desert, etc)

What are the fur, or feathers, or wings like? What are the colors and textures? We will focus on one species per class. Some animals lend themselves to painting, others more to drawing. The animals discussed in this class will include: Polar bear, Whale, Blue Morpho Butterfly, Amur Leopard, Snow Leopard, Elephant, Bees

Use whatever materials you have at home: Pencils, colored pencils, black sharpie, markers, oil pastels, watercolors–have some masking tape if you need it. Sturdy card stock or poster board in white or dark blue or black is ideal if you have oil pastels, watercolor paper —or printer paper if that is all you have and you could  glue it on thicker paper later.

The children in the photo are from a class that your instructor, Ms. Kate, taught in Switzerland!

Instruction will be provided through the Zoom platform. Students will need to have a webcam and the ability to download zoom on their computer, phone or tablet.

Once you register for the class, you will be sent an e-mail with the Zoom URL before the class to use to log in to the class. Please provide a correct and viable e-mail address when registering as this is how you receive your link.
