Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
In this class we will learn how to use a thermal tattoo printer in order to put stencils onto our pottery. This can be used for everything from carving geometric designs into our clay, to adding intricate designs with underglaze without needing a base sketch. We will cover how to make and find designs that will transfer nicely onto our clay at the soft leather hard stage. There will also be a focus on how to use underglaze effectively for illustrative designs. And talk about how to use liquid latex for intricate masking for both underglaze and glaze
Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
