For students who have wheels at home or who have rented them from VisArts. In this 6-week online class students will learn how to build and expand their skills and create beautiful functional ceramic forms. For students already comfortable with the basics we will focus on improving your skills and throwing larger and more consistent forms. For those looking to move into large and complex forms the focus will be on learning to control more clay and adjusting your technique appropriately.
Clay may be bought online and finished greenware and glaze work may be brought to and picked up from VisArts using our weekly sign-up.
All virtual classes are based in Zoom. Students will need to have a webcam and the ability to download Zoom on their computer, phone or tablet. Access to the Zoom classroom will be e-mailed the day before the class starts.
