Jack Boul, one of the Washington area’s best-known artists and teachers, will demonstrate his monotype technique and exhibit some gems from his personal artwork collection in this special VisArts online presentation.
The demonstration will be followed by a question and answer period (using the chat function of Zoom) and will also feature conversation with a National Gallery of Art curator.
As an added bonus, VisArts with the support of the Montgomery County Arts and Humanities Council has created a video highlighting Boul’s work and his long career as an important member of the Washington art world.
Boul’s work is in the National Gallery of Art, the Phillips Collection, and the San Francisco Museums of Fine Arts.  He taught art for many years at American University and still paints every day in his Bethesda studio.
Participants will need to have video capability and download Zoom on their computer, phone or tablet. Access to the Zoom classroom will be e-mailed the day before the event.
