Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Jessica Gardner will discuss her educational experiences and delve into the evolution of her work, including her dedication to making autobiographical work that can be universally understood.
Gardner has held exhibitions across the country and curated the touring exhibition Crowns. She has lectured and participated in panels at the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) conference, the Virginia Community College Association (VCCA) conference, and more.
Gardner’s current work includes handbuilt and bisque molded multiples. Her compositions explore motherhood in the modern era and have been included in publications such as 500 Teapots, Volume 2 (Lark Books), Ceramics: Art and Perception, and the Both Artist and Mother blog.
