Lynn Silverman: Lookout
October 17 – November 23, 2014
Gibbs Street Gallery
Lynn Silverman presents black and white photographs of windows in United States, Great Britain, Australia, and the Czech Republic, countries where she has lived for extended periods of time. “Lookout” is a collection of observations into how we live in proximity to other people and nature, and how we strike a balance between the desire for contact, concern for security, and our need for privacy.
