Introduction to Stained Glass

Instructor:

Ellen Lafferty

In this beginner-friendly workshop, students will learn how to create a beautiful 6″ x 8″ or 7″ x 7″ hanging stained glass panel using the copper foil technique. This hands-on, 4-hour class will introduce you to essential stained glass skills, including glass cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, and framing.

Students will select one of three provided patterns and customize their project by choosing their own glass colors. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a completed stained glass piece ready to hang and the foundational knowledge to continue exploring this timeless craft. No prior experience necessary and all materials and tools are provided.

Students may not bring outside patterns to this class.

Students must wear closed-toed shoes to this class.

This class is for ages 14 and up.

Please use the Notes section on the registration form to list any accommodations you will need during the class.
