Introduction to Paper Craft

This course is all about exploring the art of paper crafting while learning cool design techniques. Students will dive into different styles and methods, developing a real appreciation for the craft as they create both functional and decorative pieces.

We’ll be making all sorts of amazing projects, including intricate paper cutting, colorful papel picado banners, playful pop-up cards, glowing paper lanterns, and unique artist books like accordion and diamond-fold designs. It’s a fantastic way to mix creativity with craftsmanship—let’s get folding, cutting, and creating!

This Center for Craft Studies program is made possible in part by a generous grant from the Windgate Foundation.

Please use the Notes section on the registration form to list needed accommodations.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
