In this class, students will gain a solid understanding of fundamental mold-making techniques. They will be guided through the processes of creating one-part and two-part silicone molds. Students will learn how to build and properly seal mold walls, how to cast plaster and Aqua-Resin, and how to safely handle these materials. With their newly created molds, students will be able to reuse them and cast multiples of their objects in a variety of materials on their own, such as soap, chocolate, wax, epoxy resin, and more.
This class is for ages 14 and up.
