Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Get ready to unleash your creativity! By the end of this course, you’ll be confidently creating your own stunning prints — perfect for notecards, postcards, recipe card borders, or even wall art.
We’ll start with bold black ink on crisp white paper to master the basics, then dive into vibrant colors and exciting paper choices as you build your skills. In the first two sessions, you’ll learn easy carving techniques using SoftKut — a wonderfully flexible material that’s a breeze to carve compared to traditional linoleum. After a quick test run, you’ll design and carve two unique blocks of your own.
The final two classes are all about printing — play with color combinations, explore different backgrounds, and watch your designs come to life. Let’s get carving and create something amazing!
This class is for ages 14 and up.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
