Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
In this engaging and hands-on class, students will immerse themselves in the exciting world of fiber arts, discovering a variety of techniques that bring creativity to life. Through guided instruction and hands-on practice, they will learn the fundamentals of crochet, weaving, sewing, and embroidery, gaining valuable skills that can be applied to a wide range of projects.
Week 1: Students will learn to weave and will create small tapestries.
Week 2: Students will learn basic embroidery techniques and then will be able to apply the skills by embellishing photos.
Week 3: Students will learn to crochet by creating jellyfish heads, they will then be able to pick from a variety of yarn to make the jellyfish tentacles.
Week 4: Students will learn how to hand sew and create felt garlands.
Children under 13 must be dropped off and picked up at their classroom by a parent or caregiver.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
