Learn how to get out of Auto mode and use your camera to its fullest potential! Students will learn how to adjust the lens aperture and shutter speed to manipulate depth of field and motion effects. Other topics include lenses, ISO, exposure modes, histograms, exposure compensation, the rules of composition, and more. Students will leave this class with a much better understanding of how to use their camera, how to eliminate common mistakes and how to take better photos!

A DSLR, mirrorless, or film camera with the classic exposure modes such as P, A/Av, S/Tv, and M is required for this class. iPhones/Androids are welcome if you have an advanced photography app, such as ProCamera or similar, that allows you to adjust the above topics.

Instruction will be provided through the Zoom platform. Students will need to have a webcam and the ability to download zoom on their computer, phone or tablet. Once you register for the class, you will be sent an e-mail with the Zoom URL before the class to use to log in to the class. Please provide a correct and viable e-mail address when registering as this is how you receive your link.

Please use the Notes section on the registration form to list any accommodations you will need during the class.
