Human Anatomy for Tweens and Teens (Ages 12-17)

Instructor:

Kim Swanner

Explore the art of figure drawing by diving into the fascinating structure of the human body. In this class, you’ll learn about the bones, muscles, and layers of fat that shape the human form—and how they all work together to create movement, balance, and expression. By understanding what’s happening underneath the skin, you’ll be able to draw more accurate, dynamic, and stylish figures.

Whether you’re aiming for realistic anatomy or your own unique illustrative style, this course will guide you through both approaches with step-by-step instruction. You’ll develop your skills through fun, age-appropriate exercises designed to boost your creativity, sharpen your observation, and build confidence in your artistic style.

Children under 13 must be dropped off and picked up at their classroom by a parent or caregiver.

Please use the Notes section during registration to list needed accommodations.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
