Explore the bright, metallic and abstract works of VisArts’ studio artist, Dunnie Onasanya. Dunnie’s work often references symbolism of her faith, and African culture, including the DEKA mask. The DEKA Mask originates from the Ewe people of Ghana, symbolizes protection and is displayed to keep one safe, while being alone. Create your own jeweled DEKA mask on a 12×24 inches canvas inspired by Dunnie.
