Make 2 – 4 pairs of one-of-a-kind earrings with surface designs & textures created by hammering the sheet metal. Learn how to transfer your design to metal, how to safely cut thin brass and copper sheet metal, and how to finish the edges so your pieces are comfortable to wear.
The Instructor will discuss and demonstrate how to add layers, jump rings & wire to the basic design.
You will learn to reveal textured designs with oxidation and a simple way to achieve this with materials you have at home.
All materials to create earrings will be provided as well as the basic hand tools shown in the photo.
This class is for ages 14 and up.
Students must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend this class.
