About the workshop: Meet artist Gray Lyons and explore the photographic process used in her VisArts Gibbs Street Gallery exhibition. In this hands-on workshop students will explore creative image-making using a historical, non-toxic photographic process invented in the 1840s. Learn to mix photographic chemicals, and make your own light-sensitive paper. Make photographic images using elements of nature and small objects combined with your own imagination. Participants will use objects to make photographic impressions, and may choose to incorporate drawing and painting. This workshop is designed for persons eight and older and anyone under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All materials are provided and no experience is necessary and participants do not need to bring a camera. Aprons are recommended as photography materials will stain clothes. CLICK HERE!
