Getting Started with Your Sewing Machine

Time to break out the sewing machine and hopefully make it less intimidating! Let’s go over how to set up your machine, how to start using it, the various parts, some of the stitches, and the basics to troubleshooting your machine.

Topics Include: How to thread the machine, how to start sewing, how to backstitch, stay stitching vs reinforcement stitching, base stitching, ease stitching, top stitching, and steps to troubleshoot your machine.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
