Gelliprints! It’s the new printmaking sensation that is sweeping the country. The system is composed of a flexible plate in a jelly-like material, a brayer, woodblock ink and it works best with paper that has some percent of rag content– most amazingly well with rice paper.
It is safe, non-toxic, and easy to clean up. Students will create textured backgrounds with found materials, and they can also make one-of-a-kind abstract or figurative compositions.
