Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Start your garden early this year. Create a fused glass standing wave with a pocket for holding colorful blossoms. Students will learn to work with fused glass and design their wave with a sweet pocket for water. This piece makes a great centerpiece on your summer table, or welcome feature for a sunny windowsill, as well as a vase. Glass measures approximately 5″ tall and 11″ wide. The size of the pocket can vary to best suit the overall design. Thoughtful use of hand tools, strip cutters, and grinders will be encouraged to create a lovely, finished piece, but as there are many precut elements available, no glass experience is required to take this class.
The finished pieces will be ready for pickup in 2 weeks.
This class is for ages 14 and up.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
