From Photos to Paintings: An Exploration in Oil Painting

Do you have a photograph that you would like to translate into an oil painting? In this five-week workshop students will come away with several paintings inspired by photographs of their choice. In this introductory course into oil painting the instructor, Virginia Warwick will teach the fundamentals of oil painting, color combinations, color theory, and drawing techniques. Prior experience either with drawing, painting with acrylics, or watercolors is recommended but not required.
