Get your creative juices flowing in this unique family creative painting workshop. You will be painting a magical orange tree with birds, inspired by the painter Gustav Klimt, whose “Tree of Life” (1905) is well known. Paint collaboratively on the same large canvas (18″ x 24″) set up on an easel, with any child or teenager in your life (child, nephew, niece, grandchild). You will learn about mixing acrylic paints, the proper way to hold the brush, making a tint and more. You’ll be able to add or subtract design elements, or change colors from the sample we’ll display in class.

The step-by-step teaching style will be similar to that of our popular “Cocktails and Canvas” classes (but without the cocktails of course). Your last step can be to add gold highlights with gold glitter glue (optional). Klimt often used gold leaf in his paintings.

One ticket is for two students.
