Exploring Acrylics: Painting from Observation

Unleash your creativity and discover the vibrant world of acrylic painting! In this class, you’ll learn to capture the beauty of outdoor landscapes, florals, and cityscapes using photographs as inspiration.
Class Objectives:
  • Learn the fundamentals of acrylic painting, including color mixing, brushstrokes, and texture
  • Develop observation skills by studying photographs of outdoor landscapes, florals, and cityscapes
  • Practice composing and painting dynamic, visually appealing scenes
  • Experiment with layering, blending, and glazing techniques to achieve depth and luminosity

This class is for ages 14 and up.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
