Dot Art-making is a meditation! These beautiful designs will turn the into a mesmerizing pattern as satisfying to create as it is to look at.
The word “mandala” means “circles” in classical Indian language, Sanskrit. It represents wholeness, unity,  harmony and  the organizational structure of life itself.
In this class, we’ll create a mandala from beginning to end, learning dotting techniques from planning and painting  with acrylics on card stock.

Materials needed in the class (* – materials included in the kit for purchase) :

  • Black painted canvas*
  • Acrylic paint*
  • Assorted dotting tools*
  • White colored pencil*
  • Compass (optional but recommended)
  • Pencil with flat back or eraser
  • Cotton swabs
  • Ruler
  • #2 Pencil
  • Paintbrush (any size)

All virtual classes are based in Zoom. Students will need to have a webcam and the ability to download Zoom on their computer, phone or tablet. Access to the Zoom classroom will be e-mailed the day before the class starts.
