Dot Art-making is a meditation! These beautiful designs will turn into a mesmerizing pattern as satisfying to create as it is to look at.
The word “mandala” means “circles” in classical Indian language, Sanskrit. It represents wholeness, unity,  harmony, and the organizational structure of life itself.
In this class, we’ll create a mandala from beginning to end, learning dotting techniques from planning and painting with acrylics on card stock.

Materials needed in the class:

  • Black card stock
  • Acrylic paint
  • Assorted dotting tools
  • White colored pencil
  • Compass (optional but recommended)
If you have purchased the materials from VisArts, please use this link HERE to schedule an appointment to pick up your materials once you have registered. Materials sold do not include a compass.
All virtual classes are based in Zoom. Students will need to have a webcam and the ability to download Zoom on their computer, phone or tablet. Access to the Zoom classroom will be e-mailed the day before the class starts.
