Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
In this 2-day workshop – students will use both transparent and opaque glass and black enamel paint to create a 10” x 10” finished piece. On the first day, students will review tool use, discuss the process of working in kiln fired glass and create a 10 x 10” design. After firing the base design overnight, students will return the next day to embellish, refine and enhance their piece with the addition of fine black glass enamel. Learning to design with enamels is a very meditative practice and can be the perfect time to explore pattern and line or let go with abstract and organic forms.
This class is for ages 14+.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
