Showcasing the talents of young artists, this annual juried exhibition features original, two-dimensional works in various media created by high school students in Maryland’s Eighth Congressional District. The winning entry will be displayed for one year in the United States Capitol, alongside artwork from congressional districts across the country. Highlighting the importance of art education, the competition and exhibition are sponsored by Congressman Chris Van Hollen


Artists’ Reception:
Saturday, May 5th – 1:00 to 3:00 PM

Meet local high school student artists and view their work, selected from hundreds of submissions. See the award winner, which will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol.
