Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Looking for a unique way to showcase your favorite treasures?
In this one-time ceramics handbuilding class, you’ll design and create your very own custom trinket shelf! Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll learn essential handbuilding techniques to construct your shelf from clay and add personal flair with underglaze painting. Perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike!
Supplies are included, plus snacks and sodas—just show up and get into it. Want to sip while you sculpt? Wine and beer are available to buy—just don’t forget your ID! Bar opens at 7pm.
You will need to return after two weeks to pick up your finished piece and we discard finished products after 12 weeks.
We guarantee the class and experience, but not the end product; sometimes pieces break in the kiln due to construction imperfections.
