Students in this series will have a chance to discover, or re-discover, what makes printmaking a unique art medium! We will work with a block called “Soft-Kut” that is much easier and more reliable than linoleum, in terms of avoiding mistakes and getting a consistent line. Carving tips, inking, composition, and printing will be covered. All materials included. Varied size blocks. The first one will be a greeting card project. Subject matter themes: Plant patterns, animals -your pet or a friend’s pet-landscape, and a variation of the print of a well-known artist.
Safety goggles will be worn.
This class has a limited enrollment of six. Students will be required to wear surgical, KN95, or N95 masks and our classrooms will be set up for optimal social distancing. Required masks will be available in the main office if needed.

Please use the Notes section on the registration form to list any accommodations you will need during the class.
