Beginning Handbuilding: Nat Lewis

If you’re ready to explore ceramics and learn hand-building techniques, this weekly class is for you.  

You’ll discover how to craft beautiful pieces using pinch, coil, and slab techniques.  

We’ll also cover basic glaze and underglaze decoration to finish your work. 

• Please buy clay prior to your first class; it will be waiting for you on the first day. 

• Practice makes perfect! Sign up for Open Studio. 

• Each student is assigned a shelf for the course. Please clear it on your last day, unless you’re continuing with another class.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
