In this weekly class, students will create beautiful clay forms using handbuilding techniques including pinch pottery, coiling, and slab building. Students will explore some basic surface decoration techniques using colored slips, glaze, and underglaze to finish their works.
This class may be used for a requisite for VisArts’ advanced beginner and beyond classes.

Practice makes perfect and we offer Open Studio every day for students to practice. Please use this LINK https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040f4eada92baa8-ceramic1 to make an appointment. All students are assigned a shelf for the duration of their classes. All materials must be removed from these areas on the last day of classes (unless taking a subsequent class)
