Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
In this weekly class, students will create beautiful clay forms using handbuilding techniques including pinch pottery, coiling, and slab-building. Students will explore some basic surface decoration techniques using colored slips, glaze, and underglaze to finish their works.
This class may be taken as a prerequisite for VisArts’ advanced beginner classes and beyond.

Practice makes perfect and we offer Open Studio every day for students to practice. Please use this LINK https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040f4eada92baa8-ceramic1 to make an appointment. All students are assigned a shelf for the duration of their classes. All materials must be removed from these areas on the last day of classes (unless the student is taking a subsequent class).
