Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Curious about getting started with art? This class is perfect for beginners who want to explore the basics of both drawing and painting. Over the course of the session, students will learn foundational techniques using charcoal and graphite for drawing, and watercolor and acrylic for painting, all through observational exercises.
By working with a variety of materials, students will gain hands-on experience and discover which medium they enjoy most. This is a great way to build confidence and prepare for more focused art classes in the future.

This class is for ages 14 and up.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
