Beginner Crochet

Instructor:

Erin Harrison

Learn the art of crochet!

Crochet is a cozy, creative craft that uses a hook and yarn to make everything from accessories to home decor. It’s relaxing, easy to tote around, and full of creative possibilities—the perfect way to unwind and see something take shape, one stitch at a time.

In this class, you’ll start with the basics, then choose a project to make your own: a bucket hat, pillow, or tote bag.

Weekly Breakdown:

  • Week 1: Learn the basics
Get familiar with foundational stitches—single, half double, and double crochet—and how to hold the yarn and hook.

  • Week 2: Make a granny square
Practice your skills by creating this classic pattern, perfect for building technique and confidence.

  • Week 3: Start your project
Pick your favorite project and begin bringing it to life, one loop at a time.

  • Week 4: Wrap it up
Finish your piece and walk away with something handmade—and uniquely yours.

All materials included.

This class is for ages 14 and up.

Please use the Notes section on the registration form to list needed accommodations.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
