Build a standout portfolio that showcases your creativity, skill, and unique artistic voice!
In this course, you’ll explore your favorite mediums—whether drawing, experimenting with painting techniques, or working with mixed media—to refine your artistic style and visual sophistication. Through hands-on exploration of various materials and methods, and creative application of the Elements of Art and Principles of Design, you’ll transform basic compositions into dynamic, engaging pieces—all with expert instructional guidance.
You’ll also strengthen weaker areas in your work by making thoughtful adjustments that align with the standards of AP 2D or Drawing Portfolios. Your goals and progress will be tailored to your individual needs and technical skill level.
To get the most out of the course and help determine areas for growth, bring a portfolio and/or sketchbook for review. Digital versions on a phone are also acceptable.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
